Today, we will be testing the site-wide Lightning Alert System. Separate Eyrus notifications will be sent 15 min prior to a test with follow up messaging of the system status.
Lightning Alert Protocol:
Tracks lighting proximity
When lightning is detected within 10 miles, horn and strobes are activated.
Alert is a 15 second long blast
All clear is 3- 5 second blasts and strobes turn off
